We are very proud to open our facility to the public for SUMMER CAMP.

Horse Summer Camp
Children Ages 7-16

A summer riding program designed for the beginner to intermediate horse rider and horse lover.

Camp runs several weeks during July and August every year. Please check back in the spring for the 2009 Summer Schedule

We offer ½ and full day camps

The number of openings is limited

Summer Camp Activities:

• Safety, Riding, Grooming, Wound care,
• wrapping, saddling, blanketing, bridling,
• bits and tack knowledge, breed and color review,
• identifying & care of sick horses, measurements,
• general care (stall cleaning, clipping, hoof care, feeding/nutrition)
• Equine overview (career review, events review, showing), gymkhanas, trail riding, crafts and pizza party.
• Guest speaker: (one person per week as available) Equine Vet, Dentist , Black Smith

Additional Activities:

• Horse sales for children and families for over 14 years
• including sales of horses obtaining National, State & Local Finals
• in English- Pony-Hunter/Jumper to Western Halter/Pleasure and Barrels
• Actively involved in family owned horse farm/barn business
  College education in Equine Care, Handling and Business
